Hey guys,

First post so go easy!

I have been vaping for the past 6 months on my Innokin Itaste MVP 2.0 using a variety of tanks. I initially used the Innokin iClear 30, Innokin iClear 30s, before settling on the Aspire Nautilus Mini. I have been vaping 50/50 eliquid from vapingking.co.uk.

Now.... I am looking to take the next step and to move on to something with a bit more power. I am hoping to settle on something that will make the most of my juice in terms of taste, as well as producing bigger clouds. Something more streamline than the MVP would be great as well.

I have my eyes on the Kanger Subtank Mini, however, I have reason to believe that my MVP won't have enough power to make the most of this tank. I am also looking to try new some flavours (currently eyeing up some of the suicide bunny juices).

My question to you guys is....

Would you recommend the Kanger Subtank Mini for someone looking for an upgrade, and if so; what mod would you recommend to go with it?

My price range for tank/mod/accessories (not including juice) is up to £100.

I am open to suggestions guys, any help would be appreciated.

If you think the Kanger is a dive, tell me why? I am new to this level of vaping and I hope to gain more knowledge the more I get involved.

Cheers,

Connor

Hello and Welcome.i'm sure some one will answer your questions soon

Evening prawnfury1 - welcome to PotV! Thanks for signing up and don't worry, we are all still learning :D The subtank mini is a good bit of kit and gives the option of the rebuildable deck as well as the stock coils. Be aware that these tanks give a lot more airflow and to get the best out of them and the bigger clouds then you will need to inhale direct to lung over the usual mouth to lung like most people would smoke a cigarette. So the experience is very different! Also be aware that you would likely need to drop your nic level with this type of tank, and that they use up the juice a lot quicker!

In terms of the mod, yes, you probably could do with an upgrade. The iStick is the mod of the moment, I have the 30 and 50W versions and they have been rock solid. 30W would just about do you with the 0.5 coils in the subtank but there are a lot of 0.2-0.3 tanks coming on the market now and they are good. At that level even the 50W might not be enough so look at something like the IPV Mini 70W. Sorry for adding to the choices! Mothers Milk from Suicide bunny is good, as is Nipple Juice from South Coast Vaper - a really good version of the creamy stawberry and a much better price, drop him a PM to buy.

Good luck with the next step up! One of the problems facing vapers today is too much choice, a lot of good stuff on the market.

Quite new myself, but someone will be able to answer your question, I'm sure.

Hello and Welcome to POTV!

I went from the mvp 2 to the itaste vtr then from that the itaste 134 mainly using protanks from then I started with the nautilus and aerotanks but still was left a little unsatisfied.

From then after reading reviews I went to the aspire Atlantis but didn't realise I needed more power should have read up first so I went for the subtank which I got with the subohm battery from aspire which meant I could finally use my Atlantis which I was pretty much blown away with and have been using ever since although I rarely use the aspire battery now as I also purchased the sigelei mini 30 watt which I wanted so I could use the subtank and the Atlantis.

A few people to say the least love the subtank but it has lost favour with me at the moment but I have new juice on the way so I will be giving it another go.

I would work your way up maybe get a 30 watt mod and play about with variable airflow tanks until you find the one you like and then work up to the subtanks as they can and for me did need me to alter the way I vaped as they are predominantly lung hit tanks which can take some getting used too the Atlantis certainly opened my eyes and now I find throat hits make me cough which has made my nautilus' pretty much redundant.

I have some nipple juice and callicustard on the way from South Coast vapor so I will be giving my subtank another go but for me the Atlantis takes the win and I will be upgrading again to either the sigelei 150 or the 100 plus haven't decided yet payday tomorrow though so one of them will be on their way to me [emoji6]

Edit: I have also dropped my nic level over the past few weeks from 18mg which I was on for over a year to 12mg for manabush but now I am tooting 6mg which is something I never thought I would drop to as I was worried it wouldn't satisfy my needs but I am more than happy to sacrifice nicotine for flavour and vapour production [emoji1]

I would say iStick 50w and Subtank Mini.
StM is nice for me around 20-25w with a 1.2-1.5ohm build.
I think it's a great versatile and solid tank and the iS50w gives you some future proofing for lower ohm builds.
I am assuming you may be interested in the option of building your own coils. I haven't tried the Atlantis as that is prebuilt only.

Im a relative newbie too. I've just upgraded from the same set up to an istick 30w and subtank nano. Absolutely adore it. Vapes lovely flavour great. The 30w is enough for me but I've heard good things about the 50 too.

Thanks for all the great replies! Everyone had been very helpful.

I am veering towards the iStick 50w as I am sure I will continue to venture into more advanced vaping arenas as skinku mentioned.

Could anyone recommend and decent sites for picking up a iStick 50w. I am based in UK.

Thanks,

Connor

I have used myepack before and they are excellent they have the istick 50w for £39.99 not including p&p they are excellent with speedy delivery I will be getting my bigger sigelei from them as soon as I get paid.

Just a side note I think red one looks more pink than red [emoji1]

The iS50w seems to be in short supply at the moment, I read somewhere they should be stocking up mid April.
Vapeinc was the cheapest with discount, myepack is also good.
Both OOC though..
