an e-cig IS smoking. They use oil, and the oil is passed over a heating element causing smoke. Now we have people inhaling smoke from burning oil instead of burning leaves. Both cause cancer and both stink !

It's a standard shit stirring run of the mill Daily Fail article designed to stir up comment and get them more page views.

I wouldn't vape in a restaurant at the table, in the bar before or afterwards certainly, but the vapour does have an odour and I wouldn't want Nuclear Plusion wafting about in the air while I'm trying to enjoy my chocolate fondant.

It seems to me the Daily Fail like to publish stories where the vapers in question are taking the piss a bit (IMO) IE the photographer in Mothercare, now this one sat in the middle of a restaurant while surrounding people are eating.
WE know what ecigs are, what they contain, but to a lot of Joe Public, like the quote I posted earlier, don't and to them it looks like smoke, therefore it's connected to smoking therefore poisonous, passive smoking, we're all gonna die type reactions.

OK I'll let "Chez Bruce" go, but it still sounds like a place that would attract the insanely perfumed people who's clouds of invisible scented vapour give me headache and put me off my meal.
