stingray thread problems

Hi apes I'm just checking to see if any one else had this problem. Just got hold of a black stingray clone yesterday and running it in 18650 with no kick or kick tube and the threading for the bottom tube seems to be milled to far, to the point where the top tube will almost clip on instead of threading on! I can kinda get it tightened but as soon as i tighten the button up to sit nice the middle tubes will pop apart. It still fires but falls apart so easy!

Any one else had the same issue or have i just been unlucky with a dodgy one off?

Threads can be tightened up with PTFE tape, available from B&Q or hardware shops...As long as it doesn't stop the electrical circuit....

Hmm might give that a try, waiting for the vendor to get bck to me first but if all else fails could be worth a go, thanks
