Hi all, first post here. I've been using an Innokin T18II for a couple of weeks and have managed to give up smoking which is great. I want to buy a more substantial vape as I really like it and I thought that the T18II would make a good back up. Is it ok just to put it in a drawer as it is or should I keep a back up without liquid in it and disassembled? Any advice would be most welcome.

Its not a good idea to store a tank with juice in it for too long.
Why not have both in rotation with different flavour juices in do you dont get bored?
Hi and welcome btw.

Hi and welcome to the Planet.

agreed. if you want to store it for a while id remove the coil and wash out tank but dont wash the coil. put coil back and then store. some coils dont like to be woken up after a slumber so might dry out be a bit kak but its always worth trying instead of dumping if its still got some life in it.

plenty of great mods or kits out there. what are you after. a mouth to lung set up or a direct to lung for clouds. majority from the uk will only have 2ml tanks but some do sell bigger tanks with a work around. let us know what your looking for and people can advise.

while you wait have a gander through post 5 on here of our hardware suppliers POTV Vendors & Recommended E Liquid Suppliers

As above if you want to save your coil wrap in cling film and it will stay good to use with same juice next time and wash tank.

Personally I would run it alongside another device, always good to have a choice of flavours on the go. But if you choose to store it, I would say to empty the tank and remove it from the battery.

Always good sense to back up and then back up your back up.

True, but I prefer to have a back up for my back up to back up my other back up :14:

On a more serious note @cAPSlOCK I have got two mods and 3 tanks in constant use. I like the variety. I like the fact that if I’m out I won’t run out of battery and I like the option of having a fruit, a bakery/pudding juice and a mint/coolant to choose from throughout the day

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome and good advice. I hadn't thought of running them both with different flavours. I think I'll do that. Its good to know that if i do store the spare in a drawer that there are things i should do so it doesn't get nasty while not in use. Thanks again, much appreciated.

Ditto wot everyone else has said! :)

I've several mods and tanks on the go, as vaping one flavour all the time, could get boring, not to mention the possibility of bringing on vapour's tongue, so I rotate and mix 'em up with different flavours to increase my enjoyment of vaping! :)

One note though..i keep a small stash of zip baggies, to put any used coils in, that i'm not currently using, but are still servicable. So when i get more of the flavour i had vaped with that coil, I can reuse it. A little white sticker placed on each bag, with the coil type and flavour written on it, so i don't forget. Just an idea for you.
