Strengths and Weaknesses

Most e-liquids I've seen advertised come in different strengths/mgs.. Does this affect the taste or does it just refer to the nicotine content?

Although I tend to stick to a similar strength. I am hearing that as the MG goes down, the flavour is more evident.

In theory the actual flavour percentage will remain the same, however the nicotine which will stop those flavours being tastes reduces so it may seem enhanced.

It definitely gives more throat hit the higher you go. I've got some 8mg and some 12mg that don't have much of a difference but you can really tell between 8mg and 18mg. Also get a bit of a spinny head on the 18mg

I tend to hover round 18 - 24mg as anything less and I find I just toke more of it.

Flavour wise, I guess it depends what flavours your on.

I like tobacco flavours, in which case I find the added nicotine taste a bonus. But i guess with something like banana it may be a bit of a wrong un

Thanks guys.. got some 36mg (by accident) which quite honestly makes me feel sick and some 24mg which i still think is too strong so im guessing 18mg should be about right. Just about to order some River Poker Blend which only comes in 10mg and 20mg strengths, I'll have to try the 20mg then as the 10mg might be too weak. Im a Marlboro smoker which everybody thinks is a very strong cigarette but in truth the tar and nicotine content isnt much different from any other cigarette (with the exception of lights which I've always found too weak for my taste).

I was on 16-18 and flavour was good, but since I have dropped to 9mg-12mg I have noticed flavour is more intense and I quite enjoy it more now

Thanks guys.. got some 36mg (by accident) which quite honestly makes me feel sick and some 24mg which i still think is too strong so im guessing 18mg should be about right. Just about to order some River Poker Blend which only comes in 10mg and 20mg strengths, I'll have to try the 20mg then as the 10mg might be too weak. As a reformed reds man myself, they did used to have the stigma of being strong. And in fairness they were! They did actually contain more tar and nicotine, but round about the time everybody got soft, they got reduced in line with everything else

I have 20mg KY4 on the go at the minute, and it ain't as harsh as 24! Still good and strong though

Remember that you can always mix two juices together so if you have a 20mg and a 10mg you can mix them together and get approx' 15mg. Nic has a kind of a 'peppery' taste to is so the higher the nic level you'll find it has more of a peppery flavour and the lower nic levels will give you more of the juice flavour but less of a throat hit.

Personal opinion dude, if you are looking for a Marlboro taste-a-likey, VR Poker Juice is not the one for you.
