Struggling with flavour.

Hey everyone.

So this is gonna be hard to discribe so I apologise in advance.

Firstly I best start with my tanks I'm trying to use
Profile RDA
Dead rabbit
Falcon king
Smok baby beast
Now the last 2 were perfect on the original coils that came with the tanks after that genuine coils brought from amazon seem to last a day and not taste great imo.
Dead rabbit I'm inexperienced building my own coils but have recently built some using kanthal 26/32 that has been ok taste wise but see later description of problem.
Profile is my most used tank but depending on flavour can be very harsh vape also makes my mouth very dry and constantly have to drink while using it.

So my issue the with my vape experience seems to be too strong but not in the actual flavour, the best way I can describe it is if you put too much cordial into water.. while it tastes of the flavour of cordial you also get a harsh hit of the chemicals used
That's how I feel when I vape like most vapes taste different but underneath I can taste either the pg/vg or nic?

I have tried various juices (tend to like fruit more) nic salts different ratios etc. Currently have sitting on my shelf koncept bloodsucker that is just horrible to taste

Any suggestions?

I'm now looking at buying a lost vape orion q just to give another brand style etc a try but I'm gutted that it's just so hit and miss
You look on youtube at the reviews and the reviewers are saying that tastes so good yet I can get the same setup and just tastes horrible!

I can’t stand over flavoured liquid. A lot of premade liquid seems over flavoured. You could try mixing your own or even just to test this out, puff a nic shot with no flavours in it. You could dilute it with vg if necessary.

also worth asking which ohm coil(s) are you using and the wattage you run at.
are you priming them first and starting at a low wattage and then turning up every few puffs until you reach your sweet spot.
also vape does dehydrate and water intake is a must.

ive not heard of mudshot juice before.

How's your wick looking like after you've had these problems in the rebuildables? If you crank it up straight out the gate and hit it constantly, you'll fry(burn) the wick in the center(the bit inside the coil) before it's had time to soak up enough juice for another hit. Works like tissue(kinda), but it can only soak so fast..

When single coiling you are best to place the coil central, as it is you will be getting an uneven airflow with too much unflavoured air.

The Smok Baby Beast is hit and miss with coils so I would forget that one, with the Falcon King I haven't had any coil life issues but it's not the best out there.

I've been prattling on about this new PodMod for a few weeks so if you want superb flavour (and clouds) this has almost made all of my other DTL tanks &RDA's redundant.
Vaporesso Target PM80, I think it would be a better option than the Orion for DTL, I reviewed it here:

If you are still having issues after this I would be surprised though it would point towards you eliquids.
