Struggling with sweetener in shortfills

Ive been trying some high end liquids lately, one was absolutely spot on
Except for the level of sweetener
Its cloying. I know many are made for pods, and I dont know if its just me but it leaves a constant coating in my mouth

How do I cut it down a bit?
