Sub-ohming (0.9) on the SVD?

Have read through plenty of threads on this forum and one of my understandings was that hybrid mods say Vamo and SVD can't handle sub-ohms coils or less than 1.2 ohms. Today, started building my second coil using a 0.32 mm a1 with 4 wraps and the SVD showed the ohms reading as 0.9!!! Not sure if that's correct? Its firing pretty well but only at high watts. Usually, I run it between 6 and 8, now have had to crank it up to 12 watts but its giving me a brilliant thick Vape and loads of flavor.. Suspicious that the reading is wrong and it has actually turned out to be a high resistance and hence needs higher watts. Any thoughts would be helpful.

Perhaps you've got the display upside down and its 6.0, cause the SVD shouldnt fire below 1.3 ohms...

The SVD will fire at 0.9ohms. I used it to check a coil a couple of days back before putting it in a dripper and it was purring along nicely on the SVD.

Here you go @modestvaper

Thanks .. u8myufo ... Was wondering how the hell it happened! Thats helpful! The other bit I am curious abt s.. Cuz the coil is low resistance.. Y does it require higher watts? Shouldn't t be the other way around?

Take a look at this vid from Phil at 7.40 in it will explain things a lot clearer than I can :D Still worth watching all of it anyway when you get chance.
