SUBTANK MINI HELP WITH A TEMP CONTROL MOD?

Needs to be in Stainless steel mode on the coolfire though if you want TC.
At the minute I am waiting for my temp control mod to arrive and tried a build on my mod on my taifun single coil kanthal wire 28awg at 2.5mm and 6 coils to get 0.8ohms.I got that but nothing only burnt flavour at 14 watts and it seemed a little hot would stainless steel work on watts?

SS does work on watts. I only have SS now because it works for both TC and VW.

If you're new to making coils try to watch a few youtube videos, do a search for 'taifun build' for example and see how others are doing it. It sounds like you could either be using too much or not enough cotton wick.

my subbox mini micro coil should show 0.
5 ohm but it flashes 9.9 ohm and won't fire up. My rda here a pic https://postimg.org/image/7qhxv9fcv/ is this normal? I'm sure my rda post shouldn't be bending should be in a straight line. I'm so sad i can't use my rda. everything else works fine!

Howdy everyone, first post here.

@mase21, DO NOT USE that RBA section until you check this out.

I joined the forums, just to point out to you, that your Subtank RBA section needs fixing. The entire positive section of the build deck, is loose, and twisted. It looks as though the corner of the postive post may have already touched the negative side. See the brown corner.

To fix, remove the RBA from your tank. Remove the coil and flip the RBA upside down. Put a screw driver or some other type of rod through the holes in the shaft of the positive pin, make sure then that the Positive section on top is aligned straight with the negative section, see the space between the 2, and that the positive section is sitting completely on top of the peak insulator (ivory or sandy coloerd) and then tighten the RBA's center/ positive pin with the screwdriver/ rod from underneath.

That positive deck section being loose and twisted could explain alot of your problems. And if you had used it on an unregulated device, a dead short and a thermal runaway with your battery (ies)

Hope this helped, and if you need more help, just howler at me. Well you probably need to email me, Texas is a long way away, lol.

Gandalf.
