An e-cigarette user from Sunderland has taken his battle to the European Parliament. Dave Dorn used to smoke tobacco at the rate of more than 60 a day. Now he uses e-cigarettes instead. He believes they are a better alternatives, but fears that EU law may make e-cigs difficult to come by. He has been part of a campaign group which has presented a petition to MEPs in Brussels ahead of the all-important vote due next week.

Just to add, absolutely superb vapour talk tonight on vttv. What a great job Dave Dorn and the team are doing for our cause.

VT Talk was very good last night, I didnt even notice it had "run over" until Laren pointed it out.

I'm still absolutely stunned by the interview Linda McAvan gave from 1:07:45 to 1:16:05.

Speechless.

I had to turn it off, I can't listen to people when they spout bullshit, it makes me angry.

The rest of it was bloody excellent, the SWOF vid was top drawer, the comments from the panel were exceptional.

I tend to err on the side of clueless idiot for Ms McAvan. It's not possible, even for a politician,to lie that much. It sounded like a giant list of rationalisations that was dismissing any dissenting opinion as 'lobbying from tobacco companies. Sad really.
