sweetener options

whats the best sweetner to use for DIY mixing. ive come across a few and need some as a couple of my juices ive made are lacking sweetness and a little harsh for it.

ive seen Ethyl Maltol
clear stevia
brown sugar ( Perfumers aprentice concentrate but i assume this would be used as a sweetner )
sweetner ( again a perfumers aprentice concentrate just called sweetner )

im sure there are others out there but would prefer one in liquid form
so what would people say is the best one ( im mainly making fruit based juices and toffee/ mint ones )

I use tpa sweetener. Half a dozen drops or so per 10 mls of juice seems to work out okay for fruity mixes.

I have been doing research on this and hunted all the high street shops last weekend, if you google EM it says that it is a flavour enhancer/smoother not a sweetener, but as it has a sweet taste I suppose it does both.. yet to try it..

But after much interweb searching I think the best single source point is LeisureLiquids as they have a choice of powdered or liquid..

Order going in for EM (crystals), Sweetener (LL Sucralose powder), Koolada, & PA Sour at some point over the weekend.. need more 10/30ml bottles though, tempted to order liquid just for the bottles..

My kitchen is starting to look like a ChemLab

*Just noticed they do bottles as well.. might order a few of them as well to keep me going until my cheap ones turn up from China

so what about clear stevia? found it listed on several sites and its in liquid form and rated as 300 times stronger than sugar and only needs 2-3 drips per 10ml

I think its down to personal taste, I know I like sucralose as its whats in Sweetex & similar stuff that I have in my coffee, I have never tried Stevia so I was just sticking to what I know, sure there might be a slight difference in flavour which one of the more experienced mixers may come up with a reply to..

I am now waiting to see if there is any comments in favour of Sucralose or Stevia before putting my LL order in..

Ordered 50g of pure sucralose powder a couple of days ago.. ive tried PA sweetner and EM and neither seem sweet enough in my DIY VC. See what thats like when it arrives....

50g..!!! how much sweetener are you planing on using..!!! lol

my plan is for powder just because it works out a 10th of the price of buying it in PG, and I have a big 1000ml bottle of PG that never gets used as I am a flavour whore and all the PG in my mixes is ALWAYS the flavour concentrates, I aim for 60VG/40PG in mixes but never get as much VG as I want as I add so much flavour..

This works out similar priced, was about a tenner from if I remember bulkpowders. Co.uk or .com cant remember which
