sweetener question

Hi all i use capella sucralose sweetener in some of my mixes normally 2 drops per 10 ml was wondering if anyone else has had the same problem i have started using an rda coils are ok until i use a liquid with the sweetener in then within a day the coil blows . sorry if i have posted it in wrong place

Wow! Interesting ... I've never had a coil pop in an RDA. How many times has this happened to you and what gauge of wire are you using?
I don't use sweeteners a lot, some Stevia and Sucralose on occasion. I'd expect they'll add to gunking but to actually blowing a coil? Intriguing. Looking forward to reading more responses.

Used to get migraines which were found to be caused by sweetners, especially saccharine.
Had a migraine today, first in a long time.

i only use sweeteners in some of my diy liquid to be honest i dont know about already mixed liquid

i have only been using an rda for a few weeks i use ready made coils with wick as i only have a mini rda at mo

Yes, sweeteners are very common, but mainly Sucralose and Ethyl Maltol rather then Saccharine.

Never had this problem, and use sucralose sweeteners

Yes, very probably.
If it were down to sweeteners it would be a very widespread and well reported problem. More like just the cheap coils.
Are you coiling your own yet? Time to consider buying some A1 kanthal from Stealthvape.

Nicotine overdose also causes headaches, but if you wanted to isolate sweeteners in your juice as a cause of migraine then you'll need to ask whoever makes your juice. I recall that DakotaMai told me that she does not use sweeteners in her El Diablo range.
Nothing to lose from asking, it's not like they have to give up their recipe, just help you with possible consequences of an additive.

not yet looking into it but i got an rda of e bay but it is a mini rda so looking to get a but one first
