So whats the plan ?

100watts of brutal power in a regulated box mod using the new SX350 V100 (Rumors says it will go up to 200watts once yihi release the software update).

To build this thing it needs 2 batteries in series to power the it. Much safer to use higher volts and less amps, remember your batteries are in series so you are NOT doubling the mah and amps only the volts.

SXS50 V100 (you can get them here SX350 100W Chip From YiHiecigar)
Fat daddy 510
2x18650
Keystone battery holder.
16mm led button.
Up&down wattage buttons.
Hammond case.

If anybody wants a Hammond maching for this chip just hit me up.

This one is for tobywonkanobi so I hope to make him proud.

Might have shoot myself in in the foot here, I have no idea if this chip has wattage buttons or what the board layout dimensions are.

Looks pretty good, is there any reason the fire buttons are always top end and not a nice cluster with the up / down buttons ?
How much we looking at for one of these ?

Looks perfect. Looks like it's gonna be one mean bastard!

There is Danny because you don't want to press the wattage buttons by mistake. Starting price will be around £145 + shipping, there will be the same upgrades my sx350 50watt version has. Custom paint, keystone battery holder, magnetic etc.

That's fair enough, can I warrant one of these, decisions, decisions

Sell your body to some lonely granny's ;)

Its not the money its the OH when she sees a box with buttons on it.
Could pass it off as a remote maybe.

I will be on touch after I've worked out how much I value my vegetables

Halftone pattern to give it some flair.

Pre-drilling the holes, this bit is pretty scary but you have to trust the measurements.

Made a back-plate to cover the holes and its a nice flat surface to mount everything on. Insulates the battery holder from the body too.

On to paint, not going go into great detail about paint aluminum there is plenty of you tube videos about it. I prefer to etch it first because the paint will mess up all the tolerances (Ever seen american chopper when they get things back from powder coating...) and etching removes material so when its painted the tolerances wont be too bad.

Sanded the hole body down ready for etching.

Put some plumbers tape on the screws and screwed them in to protect the threads. Etched for about 10mins.

Looks darker and not shiny anymore, this is how it should look.

Next paint :)

EDIT:
Forgot to add that etching gives the paint something to stick too, there is etch primer but I again it will mess with the tolerances, better to give it good deep etch.
