Been putting off building one of these until these boxes arrived. Cut, squeezed and squashed and managed to get it in. Happy with this one and the battery life should be good. Time to find out what all this temp control lark is about

Sx350j with series cells in ModMakerBox 846024 which is 84mm x 60mm x 24mm outer dimensions. Inner dimensions are 78mm x 56mm x 20mm.

Nice, planning something similar with a nice piece of cherry I got the other day. Might just have to go down the sx (j) route now I've seen yours.

Sounds nice. A bit overkill for me as I'll never get near 120w but intrigued to try temp control. At least the batteries will last a full day ;-)

Very nice. Tight as a Nun's <redacted>. Have something in my head for these boards, 120w fits the AxMod and my profile, just need to get the enclosure designed.

One of these days going to learn a bit about electronics and how to solder.

Very smart looking box Seedy I love the temp control never thought I would ever leave my Kanthal builds. I am a temp convert now got the SX Mini , waiting on the snow wolf 200w then I think another couple of boxes then collection will be complete. Hopefully lol

No collection is ever complete ;-)

Cool beans :2thumbsup:

Planning a similar build but I am using a 3d printed faceplate
Ideally I want to use a Mitec switch as well but I doubt very much that it will fit in
Seedy can you tell me the exact length (height wise) of enclosure if measured from screw hole to screw hole
