Hello I recently bought my partner the cool fire IV with the Isub V tank. However the tank just isn’t good enough and she needs something more powerful. Can anyone recommend a better tank that works well between 30-40w. Her current coils go between 20-30w but as soon as you put it above 20w you get dry hits. Any help would be much appreciated.

I love the Slipstream tanks (I've got 4 of 'em):

I use these with my Innokin Kroma mod.

I vape these at 20 W, sometimes 30 W, they would support 35 W.

Hope this helps!

You want a tank that's about 22ml to sit on the Cool fire so for DTL vaping I would probably go for the Vaporesso Cascade Mini with the GT CCell coils, could get away with using the GT4 coils at 40 watts too. The only problem with the Cascade mini is its 2ml tpd capacity as the measure used to make it 2ml near impossible to remove, so to get the 3.5ml capacity you would have to order from China or somewhere.

For MTL the Zlide would fit nicely on it.

The original coolfire 4 will actually take upto and including 24mm tanks with no overhang.(Just checked) so loads of choice tank wise. Picking the right coil is key.
anything that takes the baby beast size coils is probably king here as you need the balance of ohms and wattage just right to get a big vape (if that's what she's after) but not had it to run at full pelt to save a little cell life.
vaporesso, eleaf ect all make tanks with this size coil.

To get a full saturated vape at those wattages it may be a case of picking up a tank and adding higher ohm coils to it. A lot of tanks these days come with 0.2 ohm or less coils.
Perhaps the eleaf ello and some 0.4ohm coils.
