Recently I've been experimenting with different builds on my Griffin and so far I've not struck myself with anything better than dual 3x28g 3mm 5 wrap twisted kanthal. It tastes great but slightly lacking in the vapour production (its important to some of us ya know!).
I tried a nickel build (dual 15 wrap 26g) but wasn't impressed. I currently have 5 wrap, 3mm 26+32 Clapton's in it but I'm still not getting 'it'. The wires I currently have to hand are:

26g kanthal
26g nichrome
26g NI200
26g SS316
28gx3 twisted kanthal
26+32 Clapton.

What would you guys suggest I try next?
It'll be going on my Cuboid or Sigelei 75 TC.

Thanks in advance...

I was thinking about a parallel build but wasn't sure about dropping the ohms too low. I had to experiment loads with the nickel to get it high enough. My ohm reader isn't the most accurate (new one on the way) and the Cuboid kept telling me "atomizer too low"... Lol

Speak to @cloudcuckoo, he's building a specific fused for the griffin among others, I had a pair of his 5 wraps in rolling at 0.32, absolute weapon

A quick simple and good all round build which I use for 'feeling out' new tanks/drippers is 26g kanthal, 5wrap parallel dual coil which should come in pretty much bang on 0.2. Wrapped around. 2.5mm bit that is.

Sometimes I go for 6 wrap.

I use this as a base point as to what the gear needs.

I use it as its a fair flavoured build, its not going to trick you into thinking the tank being better than it is. If you pop a fancy coil in straight away it might be the coil doing the work not the dripper/tank.

Its produces decent vapour, pretty quick ramp so is easy on the battery life/sag on tubes and it'll fit in almost anything. You can just chuck them in as they are a workhorse, nowt special to look at use, they just work well. You might use it in a griffin and think 'shit' at which point try sussing why its shit and build toward that. At least you have a base, and a build you can just bin off as it was little effort to create.

I'll knock one up later and see how it goes, thanks for the tip.

Did exactly as you said, 26g, 5-wrap, 2.5mm parallel. Came in at 1.40ohms which the Cuboid handles perfectly well. Very tasty build for the Griffin and plenty of vapour production. It may be my new favourite for this RTA.
