TC Tube Mods

Afternoon gents,

I'm creating a thread here in the hope that i might save myself some cash, im looking for the following prerequisites in a mod and can only up until now find the DiCodes Dani / Pipeline devices which meet my requirements

Required:

Tube form
ø22mm
TC mode with coefficient adjustment or preset for stainless wire
510 connection
25-40w

Optional:
Integral battery
Pass through charging

Anyone know of a device that meets these which isnt a small fortune? i suspect its too early days and i should wait and continue using my Ego One VT with Titanium until the next gen of Evolv Chips are built into tube form

I feel your pain!

I ended up biting the bullet and getting a pipeline pro 2. It's good, but not perfect. The main issue is flush mounting because the 510 is fixed. You need to buy shim rings to flush mount most tanks (even those with adjustable 510 pins). Also, it has a 15A limit meaning to get the full 40W you need to build around 0.2 Ohm, which will be a problem for Ni200 and possibly an issue with Stealthvape NiFe30 dual coiled. NiFe48, Ti or SS will be OK as far as that is concerned. Other than that, it's a great mod. Not sure it's worth the money though, for you it might be. In terms of function, you can now get small box mods that have all the TC features of the PP2 for a lot less cash.

@danb you can get the pipeline upgraded to a plus (with a floating 510 pin) for a small cost, dicodes offer this service on their website for both the pipeline and dani devices.

I just bit the bullet last night and bought the device from cremedevape who are distributors, special shoutout to Keith there who was very helpful and managed to change my order to an 18650 at the very last second.

i have ordered up new gen 5 sony batteries allowing 30 amp constant drain so looking forward to my first stainless build with them and some hedons bite mmmmm

Mine came back yesterday. Took a while because it sat in a depot in France for more than a week en route to Germany (I reckon they probably opened it, I posted a suspicious metal tube a week after the Brussels bombings....). Once it got to Dicodes, the mod was upgraded and returned within a week - pretty impressive service.

Excellent upgrade that fixes the only thing I didn't like about the mod, well worth the money. Thanks again @phils for bringing this service to my attention.

Wouldn't trade my dani v2+'s for anything, but these look okish and are a bit more affordable.
Pictures shows 18650, but description says 18650/18350 so not sure if 18350 tube is included
