I've got a hana dna30 mod. Some of my attis have positive poles that are a little lower than the screw thread. With the hana that spells problems as when you screw it down the walls of the screw thread can and do touch the positive post in the centre of the hana 510 connector.... much experimenting and googling to work that out.

The easiest fix might be to take a very small magnet and drop it on the positive centre post of the 510 connector on the hana.

Any ideas where I could get one? I'm not the only one with this problem, there has to be a simple fix other than replacing the 510 connector? I'm also interested in hearing from someone who has actually replaced the 510 connector on their hana dna30 mod.

Many thanks!

Cheers I'll check that out.

For the record, yes lifting the centre post on the hana fixes it. Problem is I'm doing that almost every time for my kayfun.... No I'm not screwing it in too tight, in fact I screw the thing in so light I'm paranoid the poor connection will generate massive heat.

You mentioning Kayfun, makes me wonder if it is a problem with those, one of my KFLs today wouldn't work on any of my box mods (Cana, CuBish and Atlas) but no problem on my Vamos, didn't try it on the IPV, thought it a bit thin for the KF (everything else works on the said box mods though).

First it is a short waiting to happen
Second the centre pin on the 510 will be stainless or non ferrous so a magnet will not stick

what about glueing the correct size disc on ?
a smear of glue may still keep the connection intact....it's a crap idea but preferable to having a piece of metal floating about in there.
either that or find the smallest drill and screw on the planet.

Best fix replace the 510 with a better one
