TEMP TOO HIGH

It's probably a stupid question (as we are talking about Smok) but why would it say 'temp too high' when it's at the exact temp you have it set too? ..... wouldn't it say "temp reached" or "Temp just right" ?

Probably for the same reason I was thanked for my promte work recently. Read any manual from China and see the language used. It's not their native language. I'm pretty sure my GX350 used to give me the same message in TC mode.

Yeah, that's the message I get on three different mods when I try to use T/C mode.
Tried all three mods with various atties, all SS316 coils.
Same message every time.
Even though mods were in T/C mode with the setting for SS, and the temp set as high as it would go, hardly got a wisp of vapour.
Gave up trying ages ago, total waste of my time.
