Hey all,

I've been using 10 motives cartridges for quite some time now and recently I upgraded and purchased their Cirro 3 kit. Seemed very nice and arrived with everything needed, but I'm new to clearomisers. I've had the Cirro 3 for the last month and used it for the first 2 weeks and was getting hit and miss results with it. Sometimes it would produce a good vape and be quite enjoyable, most of the time it has made me feel sick and even made me feel nauseous.

Like I said I'm new to clearomisers and had a good feeling that the liquid had run down the centre of the clearomiser into the part used to inhale (obviously not good). But it feels like such a pain to refill it right - as with the Cirro 3 you tilt the clearomiser 45 degrees and fill the liquid up by avoiding the central intake tube. But no matter how careful I am with it they always seem to gurgle, or if they don't gurgle it still doesn't feel very pleasant inhaling it.

Now I was round a friends house recently who has a non Cirro 3 clearomiser which has a glass tube instead of the Cirro 3's plastic one. I was wondering what suggestions the POTV community would recommend and if possible is there any known compatible clearomisers that work with the Cirro 3 seeing as I've already bought the kit for it?

Any help you guys can offer would be awesome :)

Hah, The Cirro 3 is simply a rebranded 650mAh eGo battery, there are literally dozens of tanks and clearomisers available for those. If you want a reasonable and fairly cheap option then look here...Clearomizers

Something like the Evod glass or the Kanger Aerotank MOW or the Innokin Gladius (or any of the eGo threaded tanks) should do you just fine...

First of all thanks for the replies guys, didn't realise how common place the battery was and how compatible it was too!

I ended up going into a local vape shop. I haven't bought what you've suggested but the main problem (or so I thought) was the fact that the liquid was ending up in the wrong place and therefore making me feel unwell.

The clearomiser I bought is filled in the bottom instead of the top and is far easier to fill by comparison. Obviously I was really careful that I was filling it correctly.

After filling a reasonable amount in and giving it some time to work its way into the system I've been giving it go since last night (and with some new flavours too to be sure it isn't the other ones I was using - all of these are 18mg or 16mg in case you're wondering).

But I'm getting the same results as essentially it's making my throat feel odd and giving that slight feeling of wanting to be sick really. Not pleasant.

What am I doing wrong? Because all I can think of is that my throat is allergic to whatever ingredients are used to make e-liquid!

Any advice/help from anyone who's had a similar experience or can offer help would be real good :)

If its making you feel sick then I would drop the nic level of the juice a bit. Maybe try 12 rather then 18.

Agreed on the nic level drop. Probably also looking at a different pg vg mix. Might just be that you are one of the people who suffers a bit of an allergic reaction?

drop to 11mg anyway. Pretty much all my mates are 6mg and 11mg users these days, i am the odd one out at 18mg

Hi, this is the first post I've found that mentions the pg/vg mix in connection with 10 Motives; does anybody know what that actually is because I haven't been able to find that anywhere ?

My first venture into E liquids after starting on Motives has made me want to try something as close as possible as a reference because my first go at an EPIQ liquid (50vg/50pg) was not very good, though maybe that was the flavour...

The best I've managed to find so far is, "Our Liquids have mixes containing 80% PG/VG 20% to 50% PG/VG 50%" from their website; suggesting that 50/50 is about as good as it gets...

Oh and one of the things I have found on Ebay is a liquid thats 70 vg and flavourless, which I'm going to try (also a 100vg available) which may help those who experience problems with e cigarettes, also that the "regular" Motives are probably tobacco flavoured, even though I hadn't noticed that myself...

Let it go bud, just let it go... the threads been dead for five years.
