TFA vanilla custard test.

Nice test.
Could you explain why your next test is on 90/10 when your best results were for 80/20.
I assume you think that the sweet spot is somewhere between your 100% and your 80/20 test.
Could the sweet spot not lie the other way say at 75/25.

I am sure you are correct.Just from your report I do not see why you are making the decision on your next test.
I will be interested in your future results.

80/20 got me the best flavour. But 100% had the best mouth feel and the vape was very thick and smooth.

Because the flavour concentrates are PG, 100% was really more like 90%.
So if I make a 90/10mix, it will really be more like an 80% mix.

However... I've just realised that it will only be a total of 80% VG if I use 10% concentrate.

So Oldhippydude, you have actually made a really good point. It's something I've not thought of.

I'll think about it more as I'm doing it... But I may use a juice calculator tool to make sure that the VG %age stays at say 80% irripective of the amount of flavour concentrate.

I may even do
5%, 7.5% and 10% at both 75/25 and 85/15.

was there any hint of a pepperyness to this or have i just got a bad batch? Also TFA White Chocolate had the pepperyness too :(

Not that I could tell.
I don't have the best tastebuds in the world, but couldn't taste anything hot or peppery.

Before you get rid of the old tests, stick them in the cupboard for another 3 weeks, and try them again.
Custard is like fine wine, it gets better with age :D

I wont even taste mine until at least 4 weeks old, and when its 4 months old its like nectar :)

I know your right and to leave them longer would the the right thing to do, but I've already emptied them into the "waste eliquid" bottle. I would have saved them but I have another bunch of tests I want to do and I only have 6 of these little 3ml bottles. All the rest are 10's and 30's

You know pepperyness is normally a sign that the nicotine is off?
I think you are unlikely to get a bad batch of flavour from a big supplier, only based on not remembering seeing it come up as a problem.

I don't get the pepperyness with any other flavours though, and i mix a lot of stuff from the same nic :D Only TFA Vanilla Custard and TFA White Choc.

Capella custard is fine with the nic i use, as are all my other flavours.

I think a lot of places buy in bulk and then bottle it themselves into 10ml bottles, think there might have been a contamination somewhere in the batch i bought.

If you start a new thread with those flavours in the title you should get some feedback from people that know them.
My only other advice would be give it time the flavour may improve.
Good luck.
