TFV4 Wire

HI, long time lurker.
I wanted to get some more use from this TFV4 tank, I spent £33 on three packs of coils, because the coils that came with it 6 years ago were great, then I switched to the single RDA and never brought any more coils, and they don't leak they SHED the juice. I'm really sore that I wasted cash on them, the juice is leaking from the cotton into the chamber below, the cotton just won't hold the liquid. Fake coils?

So back to the single and double RDA but the wire coils that came with them have seen a lot of use.

Can I buy pre built new coils for the R1 and R2? Just the wire.

I can learn to twist my own, which wire would I need?

I use Evil Bay, which is probably stupid, but I don't want to waste more cash, because confession time, I did search some forums and brought some pre built, but they won't fit the r1. It's too thick.

Hoping somebody will help me out please. thank you very much.

And just to say, sorry about the noobie questions, which I know can be annoying, but my head is spinning with 24ga 1336L and 30+ flat twisted blah blah blah. Pulling my hair out! Thanks

OK lets break this down a bit to make it easier.

Which RDA do you have ?
Are you DL or MTL ?
What wattage do you normally vape at ?
What wire do you prefer Kanthal, SS, Nichrome, Clapton etc ?

If you can answer these questions it will make it a lot easier for someone to help you.

Thanks, I had to google MTL and DL haha,

Direct to lung
40w only, lower into the 30s too.
SS is the only metal type I've tried,
The single and double re-buildables I have are SMOK, I included a picture in OP, attached files. (I'm thinking now I may be incorrectly calling then RDAs?)

@vapid easy mistake to make.
RDA Rebuildable Dripping Atomiser.
RTA Rebuildable Tank Atomiser.
And what you have is
RBA Rebuildable Atomiser although I think it should be called
RAD Rebuildable Atomiser Deck.

welcome to the forum and good luck someone will be around to help shortly.

If you are already rebuilding then IMO you should try getting a proper RTA tank or an RDA if you don't mind dripping liquid in more often.

@vapid If you're looking at wire to rebuild the rba then you're best off going for 26ga imho. 24ga is too big. Could even go 28ga but it depends entirely on you as to what you prefer and your vaping style. You'll have to play around with diameter and number of wraps to see what works best for you. 3mm is pretty standard and would be my own starting point.

I've definitely got 2 - possibly 3 - packets of TFV4 coils in storage somewhere that I've had for a loooong time. It's off the top of my head here but I'm pretty sure they're the ones with 4 stacked wick ports each side. If you want them send me a pm with your address and I'll dig them out and get them in the post.
