Well this is day five for the second batch of Guevara and I decided to filter it into another bottle to compare the colours and flavours.
Amazingly I had a small amount, maybe 20-25 mls of the base liquid left so once I done the filtering i added that to the bottle of tobacco leaves for a third batch. I shall leave that now for a full week.
Meantime here is pic of the base liquid next to the filtered batch 1 and 2 showing the deeper colour of the liquid.
View attachment 891The darker colour is certainly mirrored by the richer flavour which I have been sampling on my trusty 306/Ego testing set up. I know a lot of folks would find this juice too much but right now it is really hitting the spot. Throat hit is surprisingly not harsh but the smoky nutty flavour hit is as rich as I imagine its possible to get .. but then the third batch may out perform them all. Oddly I find the latest batch to have developed a light sweetness to it too.
Besides that of course I haven't yet 'open air' steeped these yet and as we know that is likely to further deepen the flavours.
These kits have been a special edition with I believe a 1000 unit production only. Knowing Georgio (eBaron) though I can see him repeating these at some point and I hope he does.
Considering the small amount of faff, which Ive actually enjoyed enormously anyway, they are very good value for money. Not for everyone. You do have to like your tobacco juices....
I shall be doing the Virginia Prime kit at some point too but tbh I have a lot of juice to enjoy as it is.
