Have fun!

these will be a useful starting point even for me not having the non tobacco FLVs. should give us an idea of good bases to work from.

exactly my thinking... I don't really mind if they aren't exactly the same. A similar sub might even be better because they had to use only FLV flavours for these recipes... who's to know if an INW vanilla or whatever might turn out even better?

Smokey blues ones will be good.
Not sure on the rest though.
This one for instance I'll ignore.

I feel the same, but I do have lovage root coming and I had no idea what it was or what to do with it. :D

Thanks for this, Red Burley and Cured are quite similar to me, I was disappointed in that. Tatanka, Native and Connecticut Shade are most excellent, cant wait to try the others.

1.50% Native tobacco (Flavorah)
1.00% Tatanka Tobacco (Flavorah)
1.00% Vanilla Bourbon (Vaniglia) (FA)

After a few months, that is just so powerful, almost too strong. I can see Inawera Black For Pipe and Dark For Pipe being a good match with many in that FLV pack, but at very low all around percentages, with some quality vanilla thrown in. Enough in the FLV pack and with the Inaweras, to last for yonks, like a couple of years.

Apparently.........

Lovage tastes like celery, with undertones of parsley and hint of anise. It's mild enough to use with fish and poultry, but has just enough spice to make it interesting.

I find Native really pokey, too much to be honest... it's not one of my personal favs. I find it a bit sickly and like a pipe tobacco. I don't get the 'american spirit rolling tobacco' descriptions at all, but maybe I just need to use it much much lower for myself.

... just the thought is making me feel a bit ill, I hate celery, it tastes of plastic, chemical waste or something! :puke:
