The Flavorah Tobacco Lounge

they don't have any flavour at the % you mix them at. :D

... you don't get the orange citrus note that stands in the front and a hint of whipped cream?? lol...

that person is either delusional, or has their bottles mixed up!

Description and single flavour notes taken from ELR.
Not saying they're right I'm wondering if the low percentage is the right way with this one.

Specs:
- percentage used: 3%
- 5 weeks
- PG/VG ratio: 50/50
- vaped on NarDA rda, SS316L, 28 gauge, spaced coil, 1.5 ohm, 12-18 watts

Type of Tobacco
- Aromatic pipe style tobacco: Real cigs are usually non-aromatic, this is not that. I will say that it's a great flavor off the bat though and I'll definitely will make use of it.

Flavor Properties:
- bright aromatic blend (not overly aromatic, it's a nice subtle one that I will actually use in mixes.)
- touch of citrus
- slightly sweet

Relatable Flavors:
- very gentle orange citrus note stands in the front
- maybe a hint of whipped cream, minus the vanilla, this is waaay in the background
- the base notes are non-sweet but also hard to describe. This this flavor uses the same base as Native Tobacco and Kentucky Blend by FLV. The three are, in fact, very similar.
- the citrus in this also reminds me of INW Captain Jack For Pipe, but this one is less strong on the citrus note. They would def play well together.
- there's a dry note at the end of the exhale, not quite ash but same mouthfeel
- there's no inherent leaf flavor like INW Black For Pipe or FLV Virginia, but this flav, along with Native and Kentucky, all remind me of rolling tobacco.

Mouth Feel:
- medium/light body

Off Flavors:
- none

Position In A Recipe:
- I would use it as an accent note but it's a tasty standalone and you could position it centre stage in a mix no prob.

Suggested Percentage:
- 2-3%

Pairings:
- FLV Virginia (or any other leafy/grassy Virginia you have on hand.)
- INW Black for Pipe would make a great base with this as an accent.
- FLV Classic Cigarette (if you want to dirty up the mix and chase that analog cig feel)
- INW Captain Jack For Pipe (if you want to bring out more citrus)
- INW Shisha Vanilla (or any light body vanilla)
- Whipped Cream
- Custard
- I dare say you could toss this in a fruit mix, especially fruity shishas.

Conclusion:
- First off, this is so damn similar to Kentucky Blend and Native Tobacco I'm not even sure if I could tell them apart unless they were side by side. I vape a lot of Native and Kentucky and am finding it harder and harder to discern which is which. The base notes on all three of these are identical. I think Kentucky is a bit spicier, Native has more ash, and Commercial Cigarette does the citrus thing. Would have to put em all side by side to really notice more than that. My favorite of the three is Native, then Kentucky, then this.
- I'm pretty confused why this is called what it is. Like I said, I do enjoy it but find the name wildly misleading.

Worth a try, there's no right or wrong is there? .... I think they are all fully flavoured at 1- 1.5% myself .. I don't think Kentucky Blend and Native are much like each other though.. but maybe they are at 3%? Maybe you loose some of the differences and subtleties that high though? .. and Commercial is nothing like those to me. If making the % higher makes that so, then I'm not sure that's a good thing.

mixing these at 3% is madness. putting aside the running “super taster” joke, i can mix some flavours at 3 or 4% and puff them, some are fine and some seem to strong but they are not disgusting to me, just a bit sickly and overflavoured. these, however, if you put too much in, are a horrific nightmare.

That is completely wrong imo, Commercial is the ash, and nothing like native or kentucky. As for citrus, I don't do citrus (Sinuses), I'm getting no citrus at all, thank fuck.

mixing these at 3% is madness.

0.30% max, maybe (but unlikely) 0.50% if one is prepared to steep for a year, which I'm not. Steeping for a year is always accidental or is left for blends that are shite and hence I don't vape them.

i’ve said before, we should ignore the expert tasters on reddit and other websites. they are mostly off their nut. they are self proclaimed internet flavour experts. that should tell you all you need to know. :)

So whats the issue with classic and commercial for you.
Plastic?

If you were to give the classic and Commercial your opinion on flavour notes what would they be please?
And dont fob me off with anything other than details.

they are disgusting. they don’t taste of anything to me, rather they create a feeling as though i’ve been smoking.

the commercial has a mild taste of something, maybe a bit like a fag, but after it sitting for only two weeks or so it developed the above, which classic had from the day i mixed it. it’s like a variety of sensations related to smoking. hard for me to explain, but they actually made me nauseous.
