What's new

The new kit with GTX coils, meet the Vaporesso GTX One Kit

Ditto, including the RBA, main thing I enjoyed in the range was finding one to suit your preferences, my favourites are the 0.8 & 1.2 for MTL and the 0.2 for DTL.
This is good news as I like a tight draw, not tried the Osmall but the Xtra is just a little too loose for my taste. I'm def interested in trying the tank.

Not quite but the OSMALL was exceptionally tight which was its downfall as it was prone to condensate/leak, it is tighter than the XTRA though when almost fully closed off, I much prefer a tight draw on a tank and this suits me just fine.

Thanks @rew :) I've been suffering with exhaustion from staying alert 24/7.

Yeah I would definitely buy the tank on its own if the mod isn't for you, there's a high chance I will get a 2nd one to pop onto the crap Smok N19 mod as its sat unused due to the piss poor Nord airy tank. (Smok simply don't get MTL at all)
Good news as the Xtra is a bit too loose for me so to be a bit tighter would be great for me!

Received this for review today. So far I am amazed by the sheer amount of vapour from the 0.8 coil with a restricted DTL. Flavour very good too. I agree with @Vapaneezer Scrooge that this is a very good MTL device and tank but then I've only been tooting on it for a couple of hours.

How is the flavour and draw on the 1.2 coil?

Nice wee heads up before your review.

What's it like for dtl mate?

I'm guessing you've found out for yourself now :)
I think it gives a surprisingly good restrictive DTL draw with airflow fully open, flavourful and the vapour production punches well above its weight.
That said, the PM80 would be my choice overall for DTL

How is the flavour and draw on the 1.2 coil?

I only had 1 x 1.2 Ohm mesh coil so I am now testing the 1.2 Ohm regular in it, They are both equal for flavour which is superb, the only real difference I can find is the instant heat from the mesh coil but there's not a lot in it, the new wicking in the GTX coils seems to be key for flavour.

Mod wise, I'm blown away by the battery life and FAST charging, it also it takes a 22mm atty nicely, my minor niggles so far are; no BYPASS mode and the PRO/CON wrapped up in 1 is what appears to be temperature / Dry Hit protection kicking in when using the 1.2 Ohm mesh when chain vaping (so far no issues with sub ohm mesh coils), obviously this is great, as a mesh dry hit is excruciating but I can happily chain vape on the 1.2 Regular. I have to do more digging on this before deciding, RTFM will be my first call, VV (Variable Voltage) gets around this and no dry hits so far but I suspect I am limiting the coil life vaping this way.

The Pros will far outweigh any Cons mostly due to the superb tank.

I did find out and happy with it! I need to get myself a PM80 at some point to try as I do enjoy restricted DTL.

Only just popped the 1.2 mesh in and it's really good flavour, some amount of vapour DTL for an above ohm coils as well. I am impressed and close to becoming a shill for vaporesso as I'm really enjoying this wee mod.

Im not a fanboy, I dont like to attach to a brand either... just being as much objetive as I can. But hey, this people know how to do this things.
Im enjoying a lot my pods, specially the Xtra; cant imagine how good that GTX are (very good I guess LOL)

Love that they deployed a whole family of products and classes that uses the same coils. Thats awesome.

My shill comment was tounge in cheek but I appreciate that it doesn't read that way. I'm the same as you mate, I don't really attach myself to one brand but the gtx one is pretty good and any stuff I've tried from vaporesso lately has been very good flavour wise, which is a big plus for me.

I also Iike that they're not just firing out pod mod after pod mod and catering to people who like mods and tanks as well.

Yeah, exactly. I got you from the very first moment.
I was talking specifically of the GTX coilheads, that fit into the latest pod/mod, pods and even a couple of tanks. Thats something clever and dont cannibalize the customer.

A coilhead family that brings you all types of vape style (MTL, restricted DTL, DTL)? Hands down.

I have to say at the moment i am a Vaporesso Fangirl! LoL

They have produced the amazing GTX line, pods, mod pods and now the One kit Tank and Mod combo.

For me currently they are front runners with this line.

Don't get me wrong there are some other grrat devices out there, the GeekVape Wenax is one of them but I am so impressed with Vaporesso at the moment.
