It was my favourite clone, you know...says he paraphrasing the mighty God of Indie, Mr. David Gedge.

I loved my Pulse-G clone in a way that a Catholic priest loves his choir boys. Obviously, I no longer have it. I have wept tears of pure eliquid for its passing. No longer did I have anything I could lob a single mesh wick and coil into and puff away on with the same satisfaction.

And then SHMOvapes did what they always do, they sell popular products until there are none left when I had money.

I managed to snag this one in a trade for the Crown dripper even though I was after cash. When the opportunity arose I grabbed it faster than a Radio 1 DJ at a 1970's Roadshow event.

It's different.

The wick holes are larger so my stock 6 wraps of .3mm Kanthal has had to be brought down to 4 wraps - but having done that it remains a beast. The look and feel are slightly different to the clone, the rimming is more detailed. You need attention to detail when rimming. The fixings and the threading are a massive improvement over the clone.

If SHMOvapes (or anyone else) were to restock it iI'd happily leap on it like a Max Clifford (allegedly) and pay £85 for another.

Not going to be happening.

Not unless I get a Rocket and decide it's better. The more I have gennys the more I prefer them to silica attys.

Shame I missed out on the Rocket Sam was selling a bit back, still kicking myself :(

Rocket Science Mods

We've been tidying up the workshop & found some Doodlebug SE's that were unfinished from last summer.

We are going to complete the work on them & add them to the site on 25th April at 9pm UK time - there will not be many, so if you want one, this is your chance!

Cheers - Matt
