Nice review, thinking about getting a MOD I will certainly bear this in mind.

The memory effect might need to be amended by the use of a non volatile chip (one that is not affected by voltage or lack of)

I suspect there is a capacitor in there that holds charge for a while, thus if you do a quick battery swap the capacitor holds voltage for the memory.

I agree, the voltage display could be slightly battery by maybe introducing a B (Battery) and V (Vape) in front of the display
