Too much flavor?

Hey all, so I was playing around with some pg based flavors, my mixes were between 15%-20% in a 4mg vg nicotine base and I wasn't getting the flavor I desired so I bumped up to 30% Now suddenly everything is taking on an acrid chemically flavor...so is there such a thing as too much flavor? And if that's the case can it be fixed by adding more vg? Thanks

Yep just dilute it with more base.

Too much flavour can do unexpected things to juice.. It can mute the flavour.. Make it taste chemically / floral.. It may be worth taking a sample from it and diluting it down a lot to see what happens. Going from 15% to 30% is a big leap too so the good spot may be somewhere in between.

What concentrates are they?

I mixed at 20% 50/50. On seeing various recipes I noticed some in the 10% region.
So I tried it at 10% and found no real difference in flavour and general vapeiness.

Having gained nothing (or indeed lost) flavour-wise at least I am now halving my concentrate usage at the expense of a bit extra PG :D

If you tend to vape at the same Nicotine strengths, for most of the time, it's not a bad idea to have a small batch of unflavoured mix in hand.
That way, with a little bit of maths, you can dilute any mixes that seem a bit too much on flavour, without diluting the nicotine content, or your desired pg/vg ratios.

StuPot thanks I'll give it a try...I'm using black cherry, Bavarian cream, French vanilla, and maraschino, all from TFA
