THESE ...

I bought a pair of these from Torchy via his ebay shop. I have previously had a pair of 18500's from him too.
What attracted me to these was the amp hours, a bit fed up of charging at least 1 battery a day i figured i'll give these a go. Here's the info which was on the sale page when i bought these...

...
Torchy 3400mAh Flat Top.
...Internal resistance (Megaohms) - 62.
...Actual capacity in mAh - 3214.
...65.3mm long X 18.4mm diameter.
...Weight - 46 grams.
* He states that these are 'PANASONIC' inside.

When i first got them they needed charging & were in the storage charge range. I charged them in an EFEST, LUC charger & they took approximately 3 1/2 hours with the switch on the charger set at 1 amp (0.5 amp being the other setting)
The first battery i used, i hit pretty hard & often for 2 days & only late in the second day did it show signs of flagging. I'm now on the second one & have been switching between it & another device & battery. I'm on day 3 with it now ! So that's 'not using it as my sole device'. The only thing worth pointing out is that ideally they need a magnetic spacer on the positive end so they make a good contact in my charger, a bit hit & miss without the spacer. Other chargers might be different, i don't know. It does not pose a problem in my mechanical mods.

Anyway, as the title suggests, this is more of a shout than a review because i havn't had these batteries long enough to fully testify that they are the biz. With that said, Torchy is well respected, he makes relevant information available on his website & seems like a good transparent enough vendor to me.... Plus i think these batts are wicked !

:16: All that's left to say is this. I'm not a battery expert & that is why i only buy from trusted vendors who won't rip you off. Buy good quality batteries & respect them, look after them & learn something about battery safety.

This is my own voluntary script & i am not connected with 'Torchy'. POTV are not liable for this content of mine.

I have one of these Torchy gave me as a sample, use it in my VTR and it last's 2.5 days at a time with a cobra clone running at 1.2ohm if that helps anyone

I ordered two batteries off Torchy in middle of January hadnt received them by last week, no reply to emails sent, so i reclaimed my money.

Would have done if i knew he was on this forum.............shame realy as i wasnt that bothered about waiting but the none responce sealed it.

Any time I've ordered from torchy, my batteries arrived in two days safely packaged in padded envelope and inside a free plastic battery box.......top service and unbeatable price.....cant fault the man....:)
