Hi a friend kindly gave me a tugboat rda. Is this going to be ok on a mvp round about 1.5 or 1,8 ohms and i cant remember if she said i could do a single on it and is 28 gauge kanthal going to be ok

many thanks emmy

Single coil on a tugboat will mean you have to block off one of the airholes. As much as I love my Tugboat it is meant for dual coils, which is the only slight downside.
8/9 wraps of 28g will give you about 1.1-1.2 ohms and should be fine on the MVP, if you want to go dual coil and really enjoy the Tuggy, get some 30 or 32 g wire and play from there.

thank you how many wraps for each side for i need for about 1.5 1.8 as i know it halfs it i think

The link will give you a good idea of what you need to do for coiling.
To get 2* 3ohm coils which'll give you total 1.5ohms, you'll need a relatively long or wide coil of about 19 wraps with 30g wire - get a 3.5 mm drill bit to make the coil shorter!

Few useful tutorial videos on youtube so watch them first then go play.

Patience is key, practice makes perfect and not picking up the wire trim offs is f-g painful when you stand on them later!!
