Yesterday I found a video saying this was a problem with Smok TFV8 X as a wicking problem if I poke holes in the side of the coil it will stop so that’s what I am going to try today.
Update:
I took out the .4 coil and the inside was black. I am using a fizzy orange juice which could have something to do with it. Also I changed the coil to the .24 which is better for me I think. I poked holes in the side of the intake on the coil as suggested and i am in the process of letting it soak but so far so good.
Anyone with one of these defiantly needs this hack if you are using 70/30 mixture as they don't wick as fast as you would think with suck large holes. Apparently they wind the cotton pretty dam tight and can cause wicking issues like i had.
Just thought I would pass it along
