Twisted Micro Coil and Cotton Wick

I am guessing that this would have the same effect as having a dual coil?

It looks damned hard work, not sure it will make vast amounts of difference unless you have 10A capable batteries or a DNA20 mod...

Thats what I was thinking! I dont get all this micro coil and twisting bollocks!

Pretty much. A twist gives half the resistance per unit length of individual strands, but with more rigidity and more surface area than a single strand of thicker wire - more wraps in the coil brings the resistance back up. This is more compact than a dual coil, and would lend itself to an atty with a single air hole.

Thanks @KulrMeStoopid My Bollocks got twisted once. It hurts I tell you :17: Do you know what Atty that is? It also looks like four of them might work even better :woot:

Yep like KMS, this just blows my pot noodle! Ive only just started micro coiling, 2 to be precise lol. I shal erase this image from memory until further notice (or until i get the hang of normal coiling first lol)

Micro coils are great, I'm running them in both my dripper and Kayfun 3.1, I just think that twisted coils look like hard work and think that the benefit is doubtful unless you're an Ultra advanced vaper, or a Cloud Bunny...

Micro coils are for people who can't build a proper coil, and cotton because they can't get silica to wick right, lazy simple options
