"This is a personal review of a vendor/retailer that I have conducted a business transaction with. i purchased an item from ukecigstore in november.
though of relatively low value i think that should make little difference.
the issue with the item was quite clear from the off in that it would not screw into any mech or mod , voltage checking device, ego etc, simply becasue the screw threads on the item are to short and it fails to grip and just rotates and wobbles. ( the item is a dripper )
i contacted ukcigstore by email and they state a reply within 24 hours from there customer service. 5 days past and i chased them up and finally got a reply saying it will be looked into.
then had a reply stating the item warranty had expired.
firstly under EU law all products ( other than consumables, perishables and specific excempy items) are covered by a 2 year SUPPLIER warranty . firther to that items are also covered under sale of goods act 1979 for upto 6 years.
the first 6 months of this the onus is on the supplier to prove otherwise if item is faulty or not fit for purpose, after 6 months the onus is on the buyer through independent report to prove the case.
this was less than 3 months.
Also ukecigstore list NO warranty periods on there website for products and in fact state
Warranty on products.
on there home page
i have gone through and examined all there terms and conditions, guidelines, etc and nowhere is any warranty period listed.
( also of note they list address for complaints as carphone warehouse, so dont know if they are affliated with them or just copied and pasted carphone warehouse terms and conditions.

despite sending 3 more emails a week has now passed without a single reply from them
not only do i find this very poor customer service but also the fact they are breaching sale of goods act has left me no choice but to issue them a final demand to resolve the problem within 7 days or take legal action against them.

very poor service indeed, a company only happy to take your money and run.
