Evening vapers

I've recently started mixing my own liquid but tbh I'm getting lazy and I'm looking to buy 250ml of unflavoured 70/30 18mg liquid.

Where would you good people recommend?

If you vape at 18mg then you'd need higher than that since when you add flavouring it'll drop lower. Possibly down to below 15mg depending on your flavour concentrates. I'd suggest getting 100ml (or more) of 72mg PG nic, some VG from boots then using the POTV calculator mix up some unflavoured base ready to accept whatever flavour percentage you'd normally use. ie put the flavour percentage into the calculator but don't add it.

Suppose you normally use 20% flavouring, 100ml of 72mg nic base, 100ml PG, 120ml VG will give you 320ml of liquid base that will take a total of 80ml of flavouring to give 18mg 70/30.

To make 10ml of juice, you'd use 8ml of that liquid and 2ml of flavouring.

You can go one step further and premix single flavours in those proportions and then mix your liquid using those. Possibly along with some plain 18mg base made by adding 20% PG to the originally mixed liquid, in case you need to dilute.

I'm currently vaping at 16mg so I was after the 18mg to account for flavours. I do have nic base, pg and vg here which I'll use up but I'd rather just buy it ready mixed.

Lol ...Mixing your own juice is all part of the fun in vaping ...I just mix 100ml at a time and just let it steep

BTW the advantage to using a single flavour mix is that you can more easily scale up as it's far easier to measure a diluted concentrate than it is the concentrate itself.

Make sure you use the correct proportion of nicotine base when mixing, so that you end up with a liquid that's in the nicotine strength range you're aiming for.

e.g.: If you bought 72mg nic base and you're aiming for 16mg strength in your finished liquid, 72 divided by 16 = 4.5 , expressed as a percentage that equates to 22.22 so for every 10ml batch you mix up, you should be aiming to use around 2.2ml of nicotine base in your 10ml mix to end up with 16 mg.

If you bought a different strength nicotine base, then just change the first number of the calculation ( e.g. for 48mg nic base, 48 divided by 16 = 3, which equates to 33%, so 3.3ml of nic base in a 10ml mix would give a finished mix of 16mg strength).
