This happens to me now and again. I find an unmarked 10ml bottle, usually almost full, of something i mixed up to test, probably puffed half a tank of it before letting it rest, then forgot about.
Not a bottle of mixed liquid, with an unknown blend. This happens as well, but the unknown single flavour tester is a different thing altogether.
I have one here that contains an orange liquid. It smells and tastes from the finger like irn bru. In the tank, it tastes excellent, not like irn bru at all (I strongly dislike irn bru) but I have no idea what I’m tasting or what the flavour might be. I have hundreds of bottles of concentrate, and have no idea when I mixed this.
It would be nice to know what it is, so I could think up ideas for blending it with other flavours. I could start labelling the testers, but I think it would disappoint me. I like the sense of mystery and excitement.
