It has my favourite TPA bavarian cream in though too, looks like a recipe I would like.
maybe I'll just try the FA on it's own.... go for simple, it's defo the driest coconut I have.
ooo, an idea, maybe I'll try adding just FA coconut into the pistachio chow.
I have come to the belief that saltiness can’t be reproduced in vapour. If it could we would have a straightforward “salt” concentrate by now.
Not Frankensteining this reply, I just saw it now. I feel this thread allows more lax rules because we're a small group
Actual saltiness can be reproduced in vapour, see this recipe for a Greek commercial liquid from a famous Greek mixer: https://alltheflavors.com/recipes/46397
I'd describe it as a fairly dry, very complex RY4. The essence of it is in the exhale, you'll get a tobacco base which is robust but not heavy, supported by nuts and faint sweetness and in the tail end you'll get a strong wave of saltiness. I am guessing the trick is in the use of saline, as it vapourises it carries some of the salt (Na+ Cl-) ions with it, which you taste as actual salt because that's what it is. I don't know the other salty ingredient from FW but the saline I think is standard sterile saline sold in pharmacies for use with contact lenses etc. This juice is quite popular here in Greece with the more serious tobacco crowd. I have tried it but I am not a fan, the saltiness puts me off but that's my problem, it IS called SALTYbacco after all. I'd call it one of these liquids where you know it is a very skilfully crafted mix even if you don't like it.

Maybe it's the combo with the FW salty butter balls (can't believe they named a concentrate that), this liquid definitely has a salty aftertaste, and fairly strong too.
No comment on the tzatziki recipe, sounds like a recipe for celibacy to me.
