Right after the monster micro coil lol
I whipped it out when the kids went to bed
I only had a starter kit of flebay so only had a little bit of kanthal in .25 .30 .32
i had a play but couldn't get it down to 1.2ohms only 1.3ohms
so went to work with it as was got home this afternoon nearly out of juice so I thought I'd rip it out and have another play and bingo I got it down to 1.2ohm
im going to order some bulk kanthal as I'm nearly out now lol

Looks good mate...I've never tried cotton wool in a kayfun, how does it vape? Does it last a full tank or more (I'm hoping for 10ml :) ).

Ok, never mind. It just so happened that I had an empty Kayfun sat on the side that I cleaned last night, so I built one. :P I only got 1.6 ohm with 6 coils of 0.28 kanthal, but it's giving me clouds anyway! Now to see how the cotton wool holds up through a tank of juice, if it has a bit of longevity I'll rebuild at 5 coils and try again.

Had some flooding issues with this build took it apart re wicked it with less flooded again confused now?

No probs with mine so far as that goes, but then I only built it 20 mins ago! Other than to say make sure you have a reasonable gap between the coil and the airhole, I dunno mate.

My only issue is that the draw feels a bit tight, but I've probably got too much cotton wool up top, and as I'm getting clouds from it, I'm not going to worry overly

Looking at your pics IMO you have to much of the magic fluff. Less than you think as it swells when it gets wet. Cut it so that it just touches the base. I cut it then use a needle tipped bottle and soak the wool at the same time spread the wool thinly along the base. I find it works great. Doing it that way it doesn't block the grooves.

I see a guy bend the coil opposite way to urs and put the wool around and under it he called it a chimney! Dont know much about em like but his clouds cudda brought the fire brigade!
