The odd blob of juice on the battery terminal is not issue, just soak it up with a cotton bud or a bit of twisted tissue.

Flashing while charging is normal, thats what both my ego batteries do.

No mate, it just flashes 10 times when I press the button when not charging....
Doesn't work at all apart from that.
 
Just to update everyone in case anybody else has a problem. Got a new Atty and still got the same problem.
Obviously a battery problem and the supplier (lastcig) are sending me a new one.
Just like to add they have been great about this and sorted quickly :)

You might want to order yourself a few extra spare heads. They usually last a decent amount of time, but if you're only head fails you'll be waiting a couple of days for replacements to arrive. In fact if you really like your Evods, order yourself a couple of spares of those as well if you can afford it.

It's not a bad idea to have 1 or 2 spare batteries either just in case. 1 on the go, 1 on charge, and 1 spare in case of failure :).
