Review
This has a real tobacco flavour with a slight tang, very, very slight sweetness, mild toastedness and that lovely Inawera smokiness.
I am trying to pin it down to an 'analogue' and failing - maybe Chesterfield? It's not as strong and pungent as Marlboro nor as sweet as something like 555, but there's a very slight hint of Turkish tobacco in it, but it’s nowhere near as prevalent as in Desert Ship, Camtel or Maxx Blend. This is very pleasant and if you wanted a mild USA flavour, this might be it.
Initially I mixed at 2% and increased to 3.3% which is the concentration used for this test.
My personal taste is for the Tino D'Milano Maxx Blend - which still remains 'best of type' for me - in all American cigarette type flavours including the whole Inawera range of concentrates - and every other manufacturer. But I smoked Marlboro Red and Drum Blue as my preferences when on analogues and this is milder and more restrained than them
Taste is a personal thing and this is a really good tobacco vape. This would have been preferable to any of the ‘tobacco’ flavours I tried pre Inawera. If Marlboro are too 'in your face' but you want an American tobacco flavour - I'd suggest trying this – the first paragraph of this review sums the flavour up well. Tino D Milano tobacco concentrates generally seem best of breed and this is no exception, when I compare these with some of the offerings from other major flavour houses, they are outstanding on both flavour, complexity and value.
Steeping
At least 5 days - essential
Vapour
Good
Throat hit
Throat hit was apparent above 5 volts (on a 1.8 ohm atomizer).
Value
At 3.3% you’d be able to make up circa 300ml of e liquid with 1 10ml bottle of concentrate. At 25p per ml, that’s good value.
Use as a mixing ingredient
If I were to mix this, it might be with the Tino D’ Milano Maxx Blend or Camtel to provide a slightly milder but still tobacco rich vape. Alternatively I might add it to the Virginia to develop a slightly stronger flavour. This would be a good tobacco concentrate to mix with others – it carries good American tobacco notes but nothing overpowering.
Effects on tanks and atomizers and any known ‘nasties’
