So am wanting a little help with safely using a mech mod . . . if building my own RDA/RBA, how can I insure I am using it safely and im not straining the battery? I want to do this right the first time and understand, so would appreciate advice.

You'll need an ohms tester or a device that reads ohms of the atty like mvp 2 for instance and make sure the ohms dont blow the battery e.g. if the battery is a 10 amp then use an ohms law calculator to see how low you could go on your coils before it exceeds that. If you want a little extra safety for your mod then purchase a kick to regulate the mod. Apart from that just make sure theyre decent batteries like AW IMR's or efests. Best bet is to go through the mod forum should be a couple of threads there with more detail.

Cheers dude, well im getting a Vamo v5 . . . so could use that to check builds, but I am also looking at a mech mod for drip vaping. Thanks again for the response buddy!

If your getting into dripping i suggest the igo-l nice and big for first time rebuilders. V5 will check ohms nicely but if you want a more accurate reading get ohms tester but as i said it should be fine. I've placed an order for a nemesis mod everyone seems to rate them highly but if you got loads of cash spare get a hana mod.

I will l most probably see how I get on with the vamo v5 with say, clearomisers and then look at getting a reasonable mech mod, like a MCV panzer . . . looks awesome with MCV's atomic dripper. As I said in a few other of my posts in forums here, I'm not new mods and want to understand before I go head first. Cheers for the sound advice dude.
