Trying to get my new Vamo sorted. I'm ok with the operation but one thing I not sure should be happening.
When I switch between V and W (pressing the + & - together for 3 secs) they are reset to the lowest setting, I expected them to show what I previously set them to.

I know when you change a battery, the Vamo will remember the VW that the device was set at, I have never tried in VV mode as I have never used it in VV mode!! As for when you switch between the 2, can you really fault the unit, as it thinks you are wanting to try a diiferent setting!! I hope that makes sense, because it doesnt to me, lol! :)

When switching between vv and vw it resets to the lowest default. Same as if you use it in vv mode and change the battery it defaults to 3v. But with vw mode it holds the setting in the memory. Hope that helps ;)

Thanks both, made perfect sense, I didn't think it through!

As above, I've had a few of them since they came out and VW is the way to go. It doesn't matter whether you swap the battery or the ohm's on an atty it remembers the setting and just tokes exactly the same and makes life VERY easy. So much so that I hardly use my PVari and doubt I'll buy another mod until Pvari come out with a VW device which I doubt will happen for a while yet. In my opinion this is the best all round device you can get. Just a shame that the Vamo 3 looks like a bag of shite. Enjoy it, it's a great device - and with an iclear 30 on top is just superb.
