Morning all.

I've got my grumpy trousers on this morning, so any help provided would be greatly appreciated.

Just gone to use my Vamo, and the resistance check is coming up at 0.0 Ohm, and the fire button results in the dreaded Lo.

So changed the battery, same drill. Tried it at a different size.... nowt. Tried 2 different cartos... read at 9.9 which is the default for when a carto isn't attached!

The only new thing to have happened AGR cartomiser tank V2, but it was working for hours last night, and was in fact fine upto 2 hours ago.

It's happened on the one day I've ventured out without a spare battery/PV so any help would be immensely useful :)

Cheers

Can you move the centre pin on the atty? may have been pushed in to far and not connecting with the positive on the vamo.

AGR Carto tank has a fixed base that you screw the carto into before attaching to PV, and seems to be pretty rigid. The confusing part is, spare carto's without the tank or fitting are reading at 9.9 instead of 0.0.

On closer inspection, if i just attach the the bottom, separate part of the tank to the the vamo and power up, it reads at 0.0. If i put the carto in it reads at 9.9. Add carto to base, back to 0.0.

Proper dodgy :S

Had to go out and buy a 7 squid nicolite from the corner shop to stave off analogues. Not chuffed :(

Oh well, will have to dig out the lavatube when i get back from work, so all is not lost :)

Sounds like the centre pin isn't making proper contact with the cartos. Have you tried a carto on it's own without using the tank?

9.9 means theres nothing on the connection for it to read

Its most certainly a connection issue or a faulty unit

I feared that may be the case :(:(

Oh well, good excuse to look for something else :):)

Thanks anyway everybody :worship:
