vamo or svd?

I'll thro a spanner in the works! & say have a look at the smoktech sid it's a great device I do own 1 & in def happy that it was my vv/vw device of choice. The others u mentioned are also very good tho. Down 2 personal taste really.
Thanks will have a look

I had exactly the same dilemma until Sunday, at which point I took the plunge and ordered the SVD from myepack - £60 and you get the whole lot - device, batteries, charger, tank. I love it. Can't compare it to the Vamo as I've never used one but my research told me that the SVD has the advantage of being telescopic. Other than that, they are very similar devices.
So the SVDs case winds in and out to suit batteries?
I notice the vamo can handle the sames batteries as the SVD.... does that mean you get differest length handles for different batteries? Do you have to buy these as extras or do all the options come with kit?
Question..... question

The kit comes with extension tubes. I personally got the vamo the only thing I dislike is when using an rba like a Kayfun there is a gap of about 1mm between the tank and beauty ring only cosmetic but upsets me, lol

The myepack SVD kit comes with one tube which is threaded all the way along. You can wind it in or out to fit 18350 to 18650. Been using mine for 4 days now and it hasn't missed a beat, feels really solid. I don't think you'd be disappointed.

The instruction manual leaves a lot to be desired though - it tells you to put the battery in negative side up, which is wrong!

what i find handy with the vamo is it has an onboard ohms reader, so when you come to re-wicking its easier to get right. dont know if the SVD has this function, got 2 vamo's i love em. solid build in stainless steel which is my pref....

I've had a Vamo V5 for the last month. It performs well, and I'm happy from that perspective, but I'm not entirely convinced about build quality. Already the oled cover has cracked, and I've had to use part of a PET eliquid bottle to glue on to cover the square hole. The covers can be had from stealthvaper for a couple of quid and easy to replace, but I figure if the first one was crap, why would a replacement be any different? The chrome is also rapidly wearing off the edge at the bottom of the device, so I would say go for the stainless version, only another £5 from myepack if you are going down the Vamo road.

As I understand it, both Vamo and SVD both use the same electronic control internals, so both are going to offer the same facilities. I've heard the the tank sits flush on a SVD, whereas there is a gap on the Vamo for airflow, which doesn't bother me personally.

I carry the Vamo [in 18350 mode] around with me everywhere and I'm happy with the vape, but when it dies I would replace it with a SVD because the build quality looks to be slightly better.

Hope this helps.

Doh! I meant stealthvape, not stealthvaper in my last post. Proof reading? Nah, nothing to do with me mate, not guilty!

+1 think I would go for the svd if I ever needed another vv/vw

Well thank you all for your opinions..... looks like the svd is slightly ahead at the mo...... comments about the vamos build quality...

Many thanks all
