Hi guys

I bought a protank 2 at the weekend and have been vaping with it since then at around 6.5w with the vamo. The atomizer was rated on the packet at 2.2 Ohms but was 2.5 Ohms when I first put it in. I am not a huge user (maybe 2.5ml a day) but I am noticing after 2 days the ohms reading of the atomizer has dropped. It is now down to 2.1. Is this normal that the atomizer has to wear in? Or is it going to continue dropping until it is no longer usable and has to be replaced?

Cheers

It's variable they can slightly change due to heat / conductivity etc and the Vamo isn't always spot on as i'm using a ohm meter and Vamo v5 and there slightly different, wouldn't worry.

If using W the Vamo will adjust to the ohm.

IF using V/V then just adjust as normal.

As above the resistance reading will change a little during use, nothing to worry about.

Cheers

As I am still new I just was not sure if the Ohms just went down over time until it was time to change atomizer. Today it is actually reading higher at 2.2 although like stylezuk said the vamo may not be 100% accurate.

My kanger airflow controller came today to fit on to the protank 2. I gotta say it really does make the experience better. Not only can I adjust the draw but it makes my juice taste a little bit better when I do so. Even with the vavle fully open it seems a little tighter. I have mine set a little bit up from fully open and 6.5w on the vamo. I guess it will depend on what juice you are using though. Mine are mainly menthol types ☺

Hi Marcus

How have you set the airflow controller? I find having the ring just touching the air holes gives me a good draw. Not too airy as it was before but not overly tight. Juices seem to taste good too with the extra suction. How are you finding dual coil and what wattage do you use?

Cheers
