Vamo top/beauty ring

Hi everyone,
I've been searching for an answer to this question for weeks but to no avail. Does anyone know the thread size of a vamo v5 (is it even called a thread size) as I want to replace my top/beauty ring with a nut to stop it from rolling about and (maybe even) look cool. I know the battery cap and extension tube fit on the same thread and just want to know if this is a standard size that I might be able to customise. Does anyone have a beauty/extension/kick ring from something else that fits the Vamo? Surely these threads aren't exclusive to this device?? What do you think? I reckon a thin steel nut would look super cool instead of that fluted top ring. Especially when I've got a clearo screwed onto the ego threading. I have a feeling that you're likely to find it's nothing more complicated than a pipe thread. I don't know much about them though, apart from popping round to a hardware shop with a Vamo and trying it on a selection of plumbing supplies.

Cheers. Took my Vamo down to B&Q but as usual I couldn't find anything I needed.

I've done quite a bit of research and can now confirm that the Chi You mod and the Hammer extension tubes both fit the Vamo v5.
