Basically, I've had a Vamo V5 for 3 months now, it's the kind that doesn't switch to and from RMS by holding the - button for 10 seconds and I must have tried 2 dozen different juices from various vendors and no matter what I do, I can't put the voltage at more than 3.3v or it starts tasting burnt, I've tried the Ego clearos, the Mini Nova and my main ProTank 2 Mini in 1.8, 2.2 and 2.5 Ohms. It hates the 1.8's and burns them at even 3 volts.
It's definitely the Vamo as when I put my tanks on other batteries like my spare Ego's, they vape fine.
I see people talking about vaping at 4v and higher and I'm like 'how is this possible?' I just don't see the point in having a variable voltage mod if I can only vape at the standard 3.3 volts, I suppose the battery lasting more than a few hours is a benefit.
Any ideas?
