Ay up ducks
Been cancer stick free for 12 months now, mostly using standard Ego batteries (and the Sunday market knock offs) with a vivi Nova

Gave myself a pat on the back yesterday when my students and I worked out how much I have saved.

Now I have saved so much I feel like treating myself to some decent kit. Was thinking of the Vamo

can people please give their feedback on the Vamo V5. I liked the sound of it from the reviews but I a couple of threads reported a few probs.

any feedback on this mod, the Itaste 30 and protank would be appreciated.

Hi there and welcome, can't help with the vamo but the iclear 30 and protank both decent enough main difference is in material of tank and tightness of the draw-personal preference which u like :-)

Don't know much but the Vamo v5 is supposed to be good value for money in terms of decent working vv mods. work well and affordable.

I've got a vamo v2 which I have been using for about 18month's now and been very happy with it, but I think it's starting to die now, so have ordered a version 5 two weeks ago and just waiting for it to arrive!

My Vamo v5 is a perfectly good vv/vw workhorse....it's the only vv/vw mod I own as everything else I have is mechanical...there's no such thing as the perfect mod as they all have slight niggles, but for the money, it's a good buy...

Hi There, I love my V5 SS. It's a great device and would entirely recommend it. Treat it with care, use flat top batteries and you should have no problems. Nipples can push up the positive pole so flat tops won't connect anymore. I've not had this issue but then I only use flatties.

It's not a pretty as other devices and 510 atties don't sit flush, so you need to screw up the top ring on the Vamo for a nice solid base, but for the money it's a steal. Fully featured with removable batteries it's my go VV, over my MVP and egos. Will definitely buy another V5 SS in the future. I've had no issues with all my drippers and tanks.

The iClear 30 is a great and very robust tank. Good flavour and I've not had any leaking issue ever. You'll probably need to buy replacement heads as they're not worth building.

The PT is also a good choice. Being glass you can vape any juice you want. I do find the PT has airflow issues and on some devices there is little or now draw (e.g. M16).

I prefer the PT mini which is my go to when out and about. I like to change juices regularly so I don't find the capacity a problem. It works well and all devices (I've tried) and the coils are easy to rebuild. The PTs are well made and easy to clean.

The PT mini really works well with egos and fits in the pocket well.

PT mini, would be my recommendation.
Get yourself a wee dripper (Igo L) for round the house. Sooo much more flavour and great for trying juices without having to clean it out.

Hope that helps.

I have a V5 and well when I first got it I thought it was the bee's knees but it did not take me long to find out it was not as good as I thought it was. the first thing I noticed was that every tank I stuck on the dam thing looked wonky. second I was changing the wattage/voltage all the time by accident might just be the way I hold it but I felt like I was looking at the display more often than vaping. third it has miss fired more times than a flintlock musket in a typhoon. And it would turn it's self off randomly which I have now discovered is to do with the miss fire as the display would flash on and off causing it to shut down as if you pressed the button five time.
But then I might of just got one that was chucked together at five minuets to five on a Friday, Its now sat on the side as a back up but will never be my go to device

I have a V5,the 510 connector would've been stronger made from bum-fluff as I've only had it a few months and already has no threads left so I've had to bodge a connector out of an old plastic clearo. It also gets greasier than a freshly used sex toy so I've added inner-tune sections to the body just to keep hold of it.

Still got the trusty Vamo v5 yep it's an ohm tester now but only because use Manual Mec's the v5 is a work horse and will accept ohm's down to 1.3 acceptable it's got enough power going up to 15w is pretty ample, the only issue as some have said is with tanks with 510 airflow to get around this i drilled out all of the insets in the beauty ring, also things don't tend to sit flush but an Oring under the beauty ring sorts that it's not about looks but the weakest point is the 510 so making it last longer is essential, you can't go wrong with buying one as first step into the world of vapen, re tanks the best seen in a while is the Aspire Nautilus Tank it's slightly more expensive than a Pro Tank but only heard good reviews no flooding like the Kanger and like the Aero it has airflow something very important as only you will know how loose or tight you like your draw.

Hope that help. VapeOn!
