vamo + vivi nova = problems

Check which setting you have the Vamo set on...........either RMS or the other one (cant remember what its called)...........makes a difference apparently.

Same with me. Loads of vapour just tastes of stale carto if that makes sense. I tried it with a sample I had from house of liquids, apple ice or something? Well at least it tasted quite nice but not really keen on fruit. I do love the el toro stuff but as you said, maybe not the best in a nova.

I've been swapping back n forth with the Nova hopeing it'll bed in but its just not happening, very wooly taste. I'll give it a bash with another liquid before I give up on it but I have to say I had the same experience with an Evod which a lot of people say gives great flavour but again I found it very muted. Best I've tried so far is the iClear 16, very strong flavour with everything I've put in it. Mabyee its just coincidence but its duel coil 1.5ohms same as the Smoktech cartos I'm enjoying the Virginia Prime in..

I have just commented similarly in another thread, but I now use a Vamo V2 with a Vivi Nova V2.5 (with 2.4 ohm head) and a SS drip tip and I could not be happier with the set up. I have found that at 10 watts I get a great combination of vapour and flavour and everything works as it should. The flavour is one of the best I have had compared to what I have previous tried which has been cartos, 901 attys, DCT's and Ego atty's.

Bigwhiterabbit cheers for the info I will look into that, put a brand new boge lr xxl cart on it last night and its awesome but still cant push it much over 6.5w without it starting to taste odd. I wouldnt even consider going as far as 10w due to terrible taste at 7w and upwards

At 6.5w your battery will last a bit longer lol.
