I agree that the best bit was the POTV tent.

I spent my time in Shrewsbury recollecting how it all used to be, and how such a lot of what made community events great has been lost due to the persuit of profit and/or ego massaging, drama and bitchfests.

I think it’s time we brought back the POTV meet - and will push to get a local East Mids one running again too. So, ima starting another thread in a minute looking for input.

I really enjoyed it this year, maybe more than other years because it wasn’t mad busy. There was nothing in particular I wanted to buy and when I did buy something the vendors had plenty of time to chat about stuff.

The Friday night sat outside the premier inn with a load of you was great, shame more of the campers didn’t venture into town, and it was the same on the sat night with a different mix of chaps but really good chat and banter.

For me the positives outweighed any negatives (apart from the theft) so I will definitely be going again, the social side is well worth it so I hope other comments on here don’t put people off next year.
